A 79-year-old woman who was reported missing in San Gabriel Thursday was located and is safe, police said.
Erika Jimenez had last been seen Wednesday evening at the home in the 900 block of South Palm Avenue where she had been staying, according to San Gabriel police.
Jimenez and her pet poodle, who was also missing, were located this afternoon at a church, said San Gabriel police Sgt. Riki Nakamura.
Jimenez was visiting from out of town and became lost while taking a walk, he said.
