A man is in custody for reportedly forcing his way into a doctor’s office in Van Nuys Saturday morning in search of prescription drugs.
Police were notified of the burglary attempt at Sepulveda and Burbank boulevards at 3:20 a.m., said Los Angeles police Sgt. R. Guthrie of the Van Nuys station.
“One person forced his way into a doctor’s office and attempted to take prescriptions drugs. He was being monitored (surveillance camera) by the doctor,” Guthrie said.
The police sergeant had no other immediate information.
