A chase that began Monday when Vernon police spotted a stolen vehicle and tried to stop it ended with a crash in Maywood in which several vehicles were involved, four people were injured and one trapped.
The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. at Slauson and Maywood avenues, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
ABC7 showed an upside down SUV, which it reported was the suspect vehicle. A suspect was taken away by Vernon police.
