A body was found Monday morning near railroad tracks in Temple City, and investigators were working to determine if the person had been hit by a train, authorities said.
The body was discovered near the 4900 block of Rosemead Boulevard around 3:35 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
The tracks are used by freight trains, according to the sheriff’s department.
