Police on Sunday sought the public’s help in locating a 42-year-old man who went missing in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles last week and is in need of medical attention.
Jose Herrera was last seen at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of West Olympic Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“He has not returned home and has never been missing before,” according to an LAPD statement.
Herrera has an unspecified medical condition that requires care, police said.
He is Hispanic, 5 feet 4 inches tall, about 166 pounds with black hair and brown eyes and was wearing a black shirt, gray pants and black Vans shoes when he was last seen.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts was urged to call the LAPD’s Rampart Station at (213) 484-3400. Off-hours calls can be directed to (877) LAPD-24-7 and anonymous tips can be supplied by calling Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
