A motorcyclist was injured Thursday in a crash on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway near downtown Los Angeles.
The crash occurred about 6:30 a.m. near the Harbor (110) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. The severity of the injury was not immediately known.
According to a preliminary investigation, the motorcycle hit the rear of another vehicle, the CHP reported.
Three westbound lanes were blocked while crews worked to clear the scene.
