A would-be robber walked out of a Wells Fargo branch in Villa Park empty-handed Friday when a teller refused to hand over any cash, a sheriff’s lieutenant said.
The man entered the bank at 17775 Santiago Blvd. about 9:30 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash, Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock said. He was seen driving away in a possibly black Toyota sedan, the lieutenant said.
The suspect was described as white, 25 to 35 years old, about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with a shaved head, Hallock said.
