A 23-year-old man was attacked with a pizza slicer inside a supermarket in Glendora Friday night.
The victim was confronted around 10:05 p.m. by two woman and a man inside the Vons supermarket in the 400 block of East Arrow Highway, Glendora Police Department Lt. Scott Strong said.
The man then picked up a pizza slicer and began slashing and stabbing the victim, who suffered wounds to his face and arms, Strong said.
The motive for the attack was not known, Strong said.
The suspect was described as a white male. Both he and the female suspects fled the scene, Strong said.
The victim is expected to recover from his injuries.
