A 5-year-old boy who was taken from his South Los Angeles home by a family acquaintance was found unharmed in Hawthorne Monday, and the woman was taken into custody.
Jaelynn Conston and the woman were found early this afternoon near Doty Avenue and El Segundo Boulevard by Hawthorne police, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
An Amber Alert had been issued for the boy and the woman, shortly before they were found. The woman’s name was not immediately released.
