A sheared hydrant that was apparently struck by a bus caused flooding at Admiralty Way and Palawan Way in Marina del Rey Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Images posted to social media show a large plume of water gushing into the air at the site of the hydrant as emergency crews blocked off some roads near the incident.
Repair crews were sent to to the scene and cut off the flow of water by 3:30 p.m., according to officials.
