Officers from several departments will team up with Union Pacific police to conduct an enforcement operation targeting motor and pedestrian violators at several railroad crossings in San Gabriel next Wednesday.
The operation will concentrate its efforts at rights of ways and rail crossings in San Gabriel. Officers from the San Gabriel, Alhambra, Cal State Los Angeles, Monterey Park, San Marino and South Pasadena police departments will also participate.
The operation will be conducted from 6-10:30 a.m.
The rail line being watched is a freight train line, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
