A motorcycle rider killed in a solo crash in Pomona was identified Monday as a 37-year-old local.
Maurice Whitehurst crashed on White Avenue near Preciado Street about 3:30 a.m. Sunday and died at the scene, according to the Pomona police and a coroner’s investigator.
Whitehurst was riding north on White when he lost control of his 2006 Suzuki and struck several objects, fatally injuring him, police said.
