Two men were shot and wounded outside a home in the Leimert Park area by a gunman who walked up to them and opened fire, police said Monday.
The shooting occurred near 11th Avenue and Stocker Street about 7:35 p.m. Sunday, a news videographer reported from the scene. Two men who appeared to be in their 50s were transported to a hospital, each with an apparent arm wound, he said.
Investigators were seen outside a residence looking at shell casings on the ground, according to the videographer.
The suspect walked up and shot the two men, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Liliana Preciado. One was wounded in the shoulder and the other was wounded in the hand. They were hospitalized and showing stable vital signs.
