[symple_googlemap title=”Single-Car Crash” location=”+34.1530767,-118.2324947″ height=”300″ zoom=”15″]Authorities identified an 18-year-old man who was killed when the vehicle he was driving rolled over in a single-car crash on the westbound Ventura (134) Freeway transition road to the northbound Glendale (2) Freeway in Eagle Rock.
Daniel Echauri of Arcadia died at the scene of the crash, which occurred about 8 p.m. Tuesday, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
No other injuries were reported, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department. It appeared the victim was not wearing a seat belt, Scott said.
The crash shut down the transition road to northbound Glendale Freeway for several hours, the California Highway Patrol reported.
