A 54-year-old man was arrested in Llano Thursday at the conclusion of a SWAT team raid that yielded drugs, guns and evidence of explosives manufacture, sheriff’s officials said.
Robert Webster of Llano was booked on suspicion of narcotics offenses and receiving stolen property after a search warrant was served in the 34000 block of 175th Street East, according to Lt. Stephanie Fredericks of the Narcotics Bureau of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The raid followed a long-term investigation by detectives from the Narcotics Bureau.
“Detectives on scene found a large amount of narcotics, multiple rifles and handguns, as well as evidence to suggest the resident was manufacturing explosives,” Fredericks said. “The male suspect at the location was arrested and transported to the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, where he was booked on narcotics and receiving stolen property charges.”
Webster was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail, according to the sheriff’s department.
