The body of a 20-something man who had been shot was found Thursday in Glendora near an off-ramp from the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway.

A motorist reported the body near the Sunflower Avenue off-ramp about 3:35 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Carmen Arballo said the victim had apparent gunshot wounds to the chest.

The man’s name was being withheld pending notification of his next of kin, but a coroner’s spokesman said he was in his 20s.

Authorities closed the off-ramp to accommodate the investigation.

Sheriff’s homicide detectives were assisting Glendora police.
