A fire caused major damage to a detached garage in South Los Angeles Monday.
The fire was reported at 2:17 p.m. at 1719 W. 82nd St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.
The firefighters took eight minutes to douse the flame, and the fire never reached the main structure at the scene. No injuries were reported.
