A 25-year-old woman led Los Angeles police on a chase in a pickup truck that ended when she crashed in a yard in Glendale Monday.
The pursuit started at Penrose Street and the Golden State (5) Freeway shortly before noon, Los Angeles police Officer Liliana Preciado said.
The chase went south on the Golden State (5) Freeway, where the truck sideswiped a car near Vineland Avenue, and ended in Glendale where the truck careened through some front yards near Kenneth Road and Justin Avenue, she said.
Police withheld the woman’s name. She likely will be charged with felony evading.
The woman’s father called police to say he was worried about his daughter’s drug problems and suicidal thoughts.
