Glendale police hope security photos released Tuesday will flush out a man who robbed a Citibank branch.

The crime occurred at 414 N. Central Ave. about noon on Thursday, the Glendale Police Department reported.

The suspect is black, about 30 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing 185 pounds. He had short black hair, and wore black sunglasses with a gold frame, black pants, and a red and white shirt.

He approached the teller, asked to cash a check, and then demanded money, “indicating he had a gun,” police said in a statement.

Anyone with more information on the crime was urged to call Detective Petros Kmbikyan at (818) 548-3987, or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
