A fire damaged an apartment building in El Monte on Thursday.
Firefighters dispatched at 12:31 p.m. to the 4000 block of La Madera Avenue knocked down the blaze at 12:52 p.m., Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Randall Wright said.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation, Wright said.
The county fire inspector had no other immediate details.
