A 13-year-old boy was in custody Wednesday after allegedly sparking a fire at a Walmart store in Glendora.
The fire in the Christmas-themed plush-toys section of the store in the 1950 block of Auto Centre Drive was set around midnight and extinguished by a customer using a fire extinguisher, said Glendora police Lt. Matt Williams.
A store employee was treated at a hospital for smoke inhalation and released, Williams said.
Williams said the boy would be booked for arson.
