A fire caused major damage to the attic of an El Pollo Loco restaurant in Agoura Wednesday night and it took nearly 75 Los Angeles County firefighters more than 90 minutes to declare a knockdown.
The fire at 5050 Kanan Road was reported at 5:40 p.m. and knocked down at 7:18 p.m., a dispatcher said.
Firefighters were expected to be on scene for a while for an extensive overhaul, the dispatcher said.
The dispatcher said she did not know if there were any injuries.
