Los Angeles County Sheriff’s homicide detectives released a flier Wednesday in hopes of generating leads that will solve the possible gang-related murder of a 29-year-old man gunned down on the patio of an Altadena hamburger stand.
Christopher Walker was shot multiple times last Thursday around 4:30 p.m. in the 25000 block of North Fair Oaks Avenue.
A suspect approached, argued with Walker and then opened fire, according to Lt. Robert Lewis of the sheriff’s Altadena Station. He died at Huntington Memorial Hospital.
A dark gray four-door car carrying at least two people was seen leaving the area.
Walker’s family believes he was the victim of a gang-related attack. Richard Walker told NBC4 that his son was a former gang member and the father of two young children.
Anyone with information was asked to call sergeants Shepherd or Cooper at (323) 890-5619 and (323) 890-5559, respectively.
