A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on a Golden State (5) Freeway on-ramp in Burbank Thursday afternoon.
The accident was reported at 2:35 p.m. on the Scott Road on-ramp to the northbound 5, said California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball.
The motorcyclist, whose name and gender were not immediately available, was pronounced dead at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank at 4:54 p.m., he said.
The on-ramp was closed to accommodate the crash investigation, according to the CHP.
