A fire damaged an office and a patio on the property of the Korean-American Presbyterian Church in the Westlake area Friday, but no one was injured, authorities said.
Firefighters sent to 929 S. Westlake Ave. at 1:28 a.m. extinguished the flames in 19 minutes, said Katherine Main of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation. A damage estimate was not immediately available. The multi-agency House of Worship Arson Task Force was activated to investigate the fire.
The fire apparently began on the patio and extended into an office, officials said.
