A 31-year-old Monterey Park man suspected of molesting a 10-year-old boy in the restroom of a Dave & Busters in Arcadia was behind bars Tuesday and police were looking for additional possible victims.

Kwan Chow was chased by the victim’s mother, detained by security personnel and arrested by police Monday, according to the Arcadia Police Department.

Officers were dispatched about 6:40 p.m. Monday to the Westfield Santa Anita mall at 400 S. Baldwin Ave to investigate a report of a sexual battery involving a minor, police said.

“Preliminary investigation determined the victim was a 10-year-old male, who was fondled by the suspect while in the restroom of the Dave & Busters,” according to a police statement. “The victim notified his mother soon after the incident had occurred. The mother chased the suspect as he left the restroom, which alerted the business managers of Dave & Busters.”

Chow was being held today on $200,000 bail at the Inmate Reception Center in downtown Los Angeles and was due in court in Pasadena on Thursday, according to police and online jail records.

Police said that in the course of investigating Monday’s incident, detectives identified another 10-year-old boy who Chow is suspected of fondling in the restroom at Dave & Busters.

“Detectives are looking for additional victims who may have experienced similar circumstances in or around the men’s bathroom at Dave & Busters within the recent past,” police said.

Anyone with information about the case was urged to contact Arcadia police at (626) 574-5123. Anonymous tips can be provided by calling Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
