Police said Wednesday they are looking for potential additional victims of a Koreatown man suspected of trying to rape a woman who responded to an ad searching for body-paint models.

Jung Park, 40, was arrested Oct. 26 after he allegedly fondled and attempted to rape a woman he had instructed to disrobe and pose for nude photos. Police said Park threatened to call immigration authorities if the refused his advances.

According to investigators, Park placed advertisements in Korean newspapers, websites and radio stations searching for models. Police said several other alleged victims have come forward and reported similar behavior by Park during photo sessions and interviews at his business.

Park was freed on bail on Oct. 28.

Los Angeles police Officer Jane Kim said detectives submitted their case against Park to the District Attorney’s Office, which will decide whether to file charges.
