A branch fell from a massive pine tree in Woodland Hills Thursday, damaging a home that was later red-tagged, but no one was hurt.
The branch split off the trunk about 5 a.m., falling onto the roof a home in the 6500 block of North Quartz Avenue. The tree-sized branch also damaged the garage.
Firefighters were sent to home about 7 a.m., and city officials with the Department Building and Safety later red-tagged the home — a declaration that the structure is not habitable, ABC7 reported.
Apparently no one was in the home when the branch fell.
