A 1993 GMC Yukon crashed into an embankment on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway and overturned early Tuesday, fatally injuring one person, authorities said.
The crash near West 51st Street was reported about 1:25 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol online incident log.
The victim was trapped in the wreckage for 13 minutes according to a Los Angeles Fire Department captain. The person died at a hospital.
