Two people were cut from the wreckage of a collision involving a car and a semitrailer on the Gardena (91) Freeway in Carson Thursday.
The crash was reported at 6:04 p.m. on the westbound side of the freeway at Main Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At least one of those freed by firefighters was taken to a hospital for treatment, the CHP reported.
The victims’ conditions were not immediately available.
The crash closed all westbound lanes of the freeway at Main Street and traffic was being diverted onto the Harbor (110) Freeway.
All lanes were reopened by 7:26 p.m., according to the CHP.
