A Burbank man was charged Friday with the attempted murder of his one-time potential business partner in Glendale.
Artyom Martirosyan, 40, is also charged with assault with a firearm and making criminal threats.
He allegedly approached the victim in the driveway of his Glendale home about noon Wednesday and shot him several times, according to Susan Steinfeld, deputy-in-charge of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office’s office in Glendale.

Martirosyan also allegedly threatened to kill a witness to the shooting, according to the prosecutor.
He was arrested later that day by Glendale police.
Martirosyan is jailed without bail. He is due back in a Burbank courtroom Dec. 8, when a date is scheduled to be set for a hearing to determine if there is enough evidence to require him to proceed to trial.
He could face a potential maximum life prison sentence if convicted, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
