Lady Justice 4 16-9

A Compton man was convicted Tuesday of arranging for four girls, including an 11-year-old, to have sex for money between 2006 and 2013.

After a day of deliberations, jurors found Robert Jerome Walker, 31, of Compton guilty of four counts of human trafficking of a minor for a sex act and one count each of committing a lewd act upon a child and dissuading a witness, according to Deputy District Attorney Rachel Hardiman.

Walker made the four underage girls engage in prostitution by using force and threats of violence to control them, according to trial testimony.

Walker — who went by the moniker “Bash Millions” — was part of a group of pimps who referred to themselves as the Compton Division and forced girls to prostitute themselves in Long Beach and Compton, Hardiman said. He threatened one of the girls after she testified against one of his pimp partners, according to the prosecution.

Walker is facing nearly 43 years up to life in state prison, with sentencing set for Dec. 16 at the Long Beach courthouse, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
