A pedestrian was struck and killed by a motorist Saturday on the Glen Anderson (105) Freeway in South Los Angeles, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The CHP was notified of the fatality on the westbound freeway, east of Vermont Avenue, at 5:32 a.m., said CHP Officer Jennifer Cassidy.
A SigAlert was issued at 5:55 a.m., Cassidy said, closing the Nos. 1,2,3 and 4 lanes of the westbound freeway until further notice.
There was no other immediate information.
