Police arrested four people in connection with a robbery that occurred at gunpoint Monday in a parking garage in Sherman Oaks, followed by a high-speed chase that ended in a crash.
The crime near a Whole Foods market in the 4400 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard was reported about 10 a.m., said Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations office.
The victim, who was not identified, was uninjured.
Police chased the suspects to Friar Street and Kester Avenue, where the sedan crashed into a pole. The driver was traveling about 100 mph at one point and swerving to the wrong side of the road at times, according to reports from the scene.
Three suspects were arrested without incident, and the fourth suffered minor bites when located by a police dog, Madison said.
Police did not immediately release the names of the suspects or other booking information.
