[symple_googlemap title=”Hit-and-run” location=”Main Street and Sichel Street, CA” height=”300″ zoom=”17″]Authorities sought public help to find the hit-and-run motorist responsible for critically injuring a 10-year-old boy in the Lincoln Heights area.

The boy was hurt about 5:35 p.m. Tuesday while crossing Main Street at Sichel Street in a marked crosswalk, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

The vehicle, described only as “dark colored,” kept going southbound on Main Street, police said. No description was available of the driver. An 11-year-old boy who was with the victim was unharmed.
