A man who molested a 6-year-old relative nearly two decades ago was sentenced Thursday to 25 years to life in state prison for the doing the same to another female family member.
Greg Anthony Adrian, 44, pleaded no contest Oct. 14 to one count of committing a lewd act upon a child and admitted that he had been convicted in 1996 of the same count, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Adrian fled in November 2007 after a 12-year-old family member told a Lancaster teacher that she had been sexually abused by him since she was in kindergarten, according to Deputy District Attorney Jon Hatami.
He was sent back to California in August 2013 after being located in Flagstaff, Ariz., the prosecutor said.
