Firefighters Saturday battled a blaze that spread to all floors of a three-story condominium complex in Pacoima.

And they searched for two children who were reportedly trapped in an upper floor, according to their accounts on fire radios. The kids were eventually reported to be safe with their mother, outside.

Firefighters were dispatched at 12:59 p.m. to 12330 W. Osborne St. where they reported seeing fire at the time of their arrival, said spokesman Cody Weireter of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.

The fire was still not declared “knocked down” a half hour after it was reported.
