Two men were killed Friday night in a head-on collision in Lancaster.
A white Toyota Prius was being driven westbound on East Avenue K when it crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided with an eastbound red Honda CRV, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. David Jennings said.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, Jennings said.
The collision was reported at 7:58 p.m. at the intersection of East Avenue K and 90th Street East, said Los Angeles County Fire Department Supervising Dispatcher Ed Pickett.
There were no passengers in the vehicles and no witnesses, Jennings said.
