A millionaire poker player known as the “King of Instagram” was released from police custody Wednesday after being arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on weapons charges in Nevada.

Dan Bilzerian, 34, who has 5.7 million followers on the social media site and is known for his playboy lifestyle, was arrested when his jet landed at LAX.

Airport Police Sgt. Karla Ortiz said Bilzerian’s jet was arrested at Atlantic Aviation about 10 p.m. Tuesday and booked at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Station. Because he was coming the Bahamas, he was required to go through customs, she said.

Ortiz said Bilzerian, once a candidate to become a Navy SEAL, was arrested on no-bail warrant for “possession of explosives in public lands.” TMZ.com said the charge stemmed from Bilzerian trying to make a bomb last month.

The Los Angeles Times reported he released shortly after 1 p.m. The Clark County District Attorney told The Times she did not know why Bilzerian was released. He is due in court on the charges in January.

Jeremy Guymon, 36, who was with Bilzerian, also was arrested on a no- bail warrant and also due in court with Bilzerian.
