High winds blew power lines into the backyard of a home in Santa Clarita early Friday, cutting power to 957 residences.

No one was injured, said a sergeant at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Santa Clarita Station.

The incident occurred in the 22600 block of Decoro Drive, near Seco Canyon Road, around 11:25 p.m. Thursday, according to Southern California Edison’s online outage map.
