An Amtrak train crashed into a vehicle at a Chinatown intersection Friday, but no one in the vehicle or aboard the train was injured.
The crash was reported at 5:49 p.m. at the intersection of Main and Wilhardt streets, Lt. Lester Trull of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Transit Service Bureau said.
Metrolink warned of train delays along the Ventura County and Antelope Valley lines, which are shared at points with Amtrak.
The crash was under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, Trull said.
