A fire damaged the attached garage of a single-family home in Altadena Friday, but no one was hurt.
The blaze was reported at 2:39 p.m. in the 2000 block of North Lincoln Avenue, between Mariposa and Mendocino streets, said Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Randall Wright.
The first engine arrived to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the garage, he said.
The flames were knocked down at 3:06 p.m., but crews were expected to remain on scene for “extensive overhaul,” Wright said.
