Authorities identified a woman who was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Hawthorne that left four other people injured.

The crash on El Segundo Boulevard near Crenshaw Boulevard was reported about 3:30 a.m. Monday, according to the Hawthorne Police Department.

Yvette Freeman, 49, of Los Angeles died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

Freeman was one of two passengers in an Access Services minivan that was rear-ended by an SUV, police said.

A 21-year-old woman driving the SUV, along with her male passenger, were taken to a hospital to be checked out, as were the driver of the minivan and the surviving passenger, police said. None of the injuries was believed serious.

Access Services provides transportation for people in wheelchairs and those with other disabilities. No arrests were immediately reported. The investigation was continuing, police said.
