A high-pressure gas line near Calabasas was leaking Sunday night after a tree fell on it, authorities said.
The line at King’s Gillette Ranch in the 26000 block of Mulholland Highway began leaking after a tree fell on it about 8:30 p.m., according to Michael Pittman, supervising dispatcher of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The gas company was summoned to the scene.
It was unclear how long it would take to stop the flow of gas and make repairs.
No evacuations were ordered in the sparsely populated area, Pittman said.
