Firefighters dispatched at 9:44 a.m. to the 36000 block of North 40th Street East had the fire inside the residence put out at 10:04 a.m, said Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Randall Wright.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation, Wright said.
