
A 79-year-old man with Alzheimer’s disease and other conditions that require daily medication went missing from his Windsor Hills home, authorities said.
Herbert Vaughn, who is easily confused, was last seen driving his car from his home in the 5400 block of Valley Ridge Avenue about 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Vaughn is black, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 165 pounds with brown eyes and a gray beard. He wears glasses and wore a black sport coat, black-collared shirt and black slacks when he was last seen driving a silver 2006 Chrysler 300 four-door with the California license plate number FYY104.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts was urged to contact the Missing Persons Detail of the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
