A rear-seat passenger was killed Sunday when a car, believed to have been driven by a drunken driver, crashed into at least three parked vehicles in South Los Angeles.

The crash at 57th Street and Gramercy Place occurred about 2:25 a.m., said Los Angeles police officer Norma Eisenman of the Media Relations Section.

Eisenman said the passenger died at the scene.

Paramedics rushed one person in serious condition and another person in fair condition to a hospital, said Katherine Main of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.
