Firefighters discovered the body of a woman Sunday inside a mobile home fire in Castaic.
They were dispatched to the fire in the 31000 block of Heavenly Way at 3:11 a.m., but did not report an approximate knockdown time, said Los Angeles County Fire dispatcher Robert Diaz.
Diaz said the fire was out by 3:50 a.m.
According to media reports, the woman was 73 years old. An 81-year-old man, possibly her husband, was injured in the fire and transported to an area hospital.
There was no other information available.
