A woman in her 40s was hospitalized Monday morning in Long Beach after she was stabbed in the eye, police said.
The stabbing occurred at about 1:50 a.m. at Pacific Coast Highway and Pacific Avenue, said Long Beach Police Sgt. Megan Zabel.
“The suspect, described as a man in his 50s, was taken into custody at Wardlow Road and Pacific Avenue at 2 a.m.,” Zabel said. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment, where her condition was not immediately available.
