The man, in his 30s, died at the scene of the shooting in the 200 block of West 47th Place about 12:30 a.m., said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
The woman was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, Winter said. The circumstances of the crime were under investigation.
